Terms of use

StoreParity helps you decide prices and schedules the ones you approve. Every scheduled change is real and your decision. Pro is sold and refunded through Apple. The software is provided as is, within what the law allows.

1. What these terms cover

These terms apply to the StoreParity app and to storeparity.com, both provided by Indie AI Labs (Dutch Chamber of Commerce 98880217, "we"). The app is licensed to you under Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement. These terms add to that agreement; where the two conflict about the licence itself, Apple's agreement applies.

2. What StoreParity does

StoreParity reads your apps, products and prices from App Store Connect with an API key you provide, proposes prices from purchasing power references and your own adjustments, and, when you choose Schedule N changes and confirm, sends those price changes to App Store Connect. It does nothing in App Store Connect without that action.

3. What you are responsible for

4. What we cannot promise

5. Free and Pro

Free tracks one app, reads every product in it, prices with Income parity or by hand, explains every storefront, and schedules changes on one product per key. Pro tracks every app, schedules changes on every product and adds the other parity templates. Cancelling, resuming and recovering a job are part of both.

Pro is sold through Apple as an auto-renewable monthly or annual subscription, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. Apple handles payment, renewal and refunds under its own terms. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your App Store account settings. Refunds are requested from Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

A lifetime purchase unlocks Pro for as long as we offer StoreParity on the App Store and it runs on your operating system, including the updates we release. If we change what Free or Pro includes, or the prices, the change applies to new purchases; what you have already bought keeps working.

6. Data and licences

The reference data comes from the World Bank, The Economist's Big Mac index and the tompec/netflix-prices dataset by thomas.io, each under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 licence, and exchange rates from Frankfurter. StoreParity shows each source in the app. The software, its design and this website are ours.

7. No warranty

To the extent the law allows, StoreParity and this website are provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind. Rights you have as a consumer under mandatory law are not affected.

8. Liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost revenue or profit, or for the effects of price changes you scheduled. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for StoreParity in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, or anything else the law does not allow us to limit.

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms; the date at the top changes when we do, and material changes are noted on this page for at least 30 days. You can stop using StoreParity at any time: remove the key in Settings, revoke it in App Store Connect, and cancel any subscription with Apple.

10. Law

Dutch law governs these terms, and the courts of the Netherlands have jurisdiction, without taking away the protection that the law of the country where you live gives you as a consumer.
